I’m not saying The supernatural dvd, or any of my negative examples, are bad shows because they exhibit what I consider the problem (Seinfeld had no actual drama, after all).

What I’m saying is that those criminal minds dvd lack enough emotional connection to maintain interest longer thanthe show is on the air, essentially lacking the heart and soul of more complex sitcoms. When The Big Bang Theory is canceled, people will miss sons of anarchy dvd, but the majority of people won’t yearn for the show to return. In my opinion, anyway.
